Classic Hang Gliding - El John Jeans Commercial (1977)

This was a commercial for Japanese clothing company El John Jeans. By this time in his career Burke had added modeling and acting to his resume, as well as, continuing to work at Wills Wing and competing nationally. In this commercial, Burke flies tandem, seated off of Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. Conditions that day were not good enough for soaring (meaning they had to run off the cliff and fly to the beach) and the flight was made even more difficult due to the large El John Jeans sticker that was added to the sail of the glider.
