Ed Levin Park 3-13-11

Pre-frontal soaring at Ed Levin. The air was smooth with 15-20 mph winds aloft, mostly ridge lift with a few very weak thermals. Approaching rain cut this flight short after 45 minutes in the air.

@FCbisleybob This is a Bright Star Millennium, no longer in production. The span is 37 ft and the area is 145 ft^2. Controls are elevons (roll+pitch) and rudders for full 3-axis controls. The camera is a GoPro mounted to my helmet. You can foot land the Millennium if you flare aggressively and shift your weight aft during the flare. I usually land on the wheel in zero wind, but a lot of people were watching this day so I decided to demonstrate that it can be done.
