Australia goes to the polls 澳洲選舉難分勝負

The Labor Party swept to victory in 2007, with Kevin Rudd coming into power as Prime Minister. For a while, Rudd was enormously popular, but his plans to institute a new tax on mining companies and his failure to implement the government's emission trading scheme caused his popularity to plummet. The Labor party rose up against their wounded leader. In the end, he was replaced by his deputy, Julia Gillard. In this weekend's election, Gillard's toughest rival is Tony Abbott, leader of the Liberal Party. Abbott promised to be tough on immigration if he becomes Prime Minister. Although polls show Abbott way ahead of Gillard, the Labor/Green party coalition still has more support when counted together. 'Crocodile Harry' has predicted a Labor victory. This is the closest election in Australia in 50 years.

ethnically Japanese and Korean are closely related to Chinese than Taiwanese

but culturally i would say people in China,Vietnam,Japan,Korea,Mong­ol,Taiwan

etc all share similar cultures , customs or food just like European people. I don't

think at the moment China will stop putting their pressures or invasion on Taiwan.

But in the end they still have to face the truth so 2 nations will make compromise.

French is a mix race as well but they won't call themselves Germanic or Latin.

@nostromoau You're thinking of a Bill Of Rights, as it has already been established by the previous guy who corrected you, we do have a Constitution, our fundamental rights are essentially laid out in common law legislation relating to other matters and in numerous subsections of Section 51, as well as other sections of the Australian Constitution. It takes only a VCE understanding of Legal Studies to know this, and even less to know that Australia in fact has a Constitution.
