@newstart2009 It was,I was in working in Camden at the time and went to pay my respects ..her duet of the song Body and Soul with Tony Bennett will be on a special tribute album for his 85 birthday and will be out Sept 20th all the proceeds are going to chartlty.Thanks for this upload.

@lmheneveld well sadly for Ella the soundman here was kind of off.... that feedback noise is terrible and the way Ella kept going is priceless... some artist would stop and say fix the sound.. I've seen that..

@Likeacommet I beleive she can't hear herself. Placing your hand next to your face or cupping your hand helps direct the sound to your ear. It's incredible how difficult it is to sing on stage when your monitor isn't working correctly! Luckily I married my sound man lol

just for the record ...the ear thing is to hear your own pitch...its kinda like a check to see if your intune especialy if you cant hear yourself over the music....lol....good to know huh....=) try it you`ll understand.....

I am a great Amy Winehouse fan and she did this live with Jools Holland in Nov 06{on my channel}.
I prefer Ellas to Sarah Vaughans or Rosemerry Clooneys versions-she had such a great tone to her voice-excellent.

@195477EP I am a fan of Amy's too, her influences were all of the greats and it showed. Thank you for your comment, so sad about her passing. I had hoped she'd overcome her addiction :(

@195477EP Love ella, but I think vaughan's is a bit more heartfelt. Ella is one of my favorites tho

@XforeverlongingX I love both versions, Sarah made Tenderly her trademark song until she did Send in the Clown, then finally So Many Stars... both are just wonderful
