@ZombieNGhost The right style is important. The right teacher is important, but most important is to train it right. The best style in the world is worthless if you don't practice hard. Yet the most worst style will be come most effective if you put your heart into it. Everyday, all the time, improve.

Brother. You just inspired me to get back into Bagua, it's good to see someone evolve and take this to the level it needs to be taken while still maintaing its spiritual core- which is present in your every move. I haven't practiced in ages, but I feel I will begin to do my own free-flow stuff just as a result of watching this.

If such a video can be widely published in some Chinese video web like youku or tu, u may gonna be very popular. But im not sure =P. Btw, is 八卦掌 work in real fighting? like against boxing? i know little thing about it.

@vietle87 My wife got it for me for Christmas last year. It was in Taiwan somewhere, but she is still keeping it a secret. Women.

I do have a question. I come from a Japanese martial art background (kendo). Do you guys do have some sort of theory on pressuring the enemy in your sparring times? Just wondering. In kendo, we have something like that which we call seme (attack).

@mikeymarshful We don't emphasize pressuring the opponent through any one particular drill, but pressure must always be prevalent when practicing combat. I have taken a few good cuts training with my master. Not having equipment gives a different type of pressure.

2:57 is just brilliant. Circle walking on stools around the table. BTW, where is this? Taiwan? I don't recognize any of the buildings or parks, so it can't be HK or SGP.
