@Mazryonh I'm guessing they did that to encourage compartmentalized functionality. Rifles against human enemies. Revolvers and shotguns against monstrositariacs.

@Xerxes1688 I must say; why didn't the guys in Metro 2033 make the "Bastard" carbine based on a PPS-43 but converted to 7.62x39mm, instead of turning it into a Sten look-alike that looks like it has NO ability to eject shell casings? Furthermore, why isn't the standard military caliber in the Metro 7.62x39mm instead? It's far more useful and efficient against mutants than 5.45x39mm; you can't hunt larger game with 5.45mm rounds.

@Mazryonh What if there was a Fruit Punch Fleshpig?! XD A fleshpig embued with the go0ey powers of Fruit Punch. It can detect your presense through walls with its olfactory orbus eyeball AND it can puke green radioactive pigvomit at you! And it would be green. Not grass green like the swamp flesh. More like a semi-neon olive drab mossy green. And it would have the classic pigface of a fleshpig.

@IggyHazard Yes, but the worst things about it were endless hordes of Tushkano/Hamsters, and those awful Electro-Chimeras that explode like an Electro-anomaly upon being shot every once in a while.

@117dragonkiller It's Shadow of Chernobyl with the Oblivion Lost 2010 mod. I made a slight alteration to the graphics by removing a folder. Originally, all the foliage has a spring/summer look to it. It's graphically impressive but feels less "zoney."
