  • Hey Repo, You pretty much seem to have it, yes. You can use RoundUp if you'd like. Just remember that it will kill anything it touches. If it's all pretty much crabgrass anyway, have at it. If there are patches of decent stuff, make sure to avoid them when spraying. Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.

  • Also can I kill the crabgrass with roundup before aerating so as to get better soil exposure for the new seed?

  • My lawn is almost completely crabgrass in the front. Also large areas of clover.

    So at the end of summer I core aerate then seed. Then next spring apply a pre-emergent?
