It is not important that we get overcome by our emotions. There are errors of course in terming Matthew 5;9-15 as the Lord's prayer. It goes to show the Word of God was in the wrong hands for a very long time and was passed down to us. It goes to show the dangers of being indoctrinated by traditions of men instead of pure Scripture. Correctly, John 17 should be the Lord's Prayer. Nonetheless we should not be overworked by these minor details our salvation is more important than human errors.

this makes no sense at all: Lord praying to someone?! to Him we pray and He is not depend on anyone. if you say that is JESUS praying to God, than think about Jesus divinity. Jesus was only a mighty messenger of God who was sent to teach mankind-that is why he thought you the prayer-God doesn't pray to anyone. to Him we pray.

We call the prayer that Jesus taught "The Lord's Prayer" because it is the prayer our Lord Jesus made for us. Not because it is God or Jesus praying.

You are not getting it at ALL. The Lord's Prayer refers to the basic prayer that he gave to his followers in order to ask for help and also praise him. Sheesh! Read the words!

Let's remember Him today, Father's Day. He truly IS our Father, and He loves us infinitely!

Different...but still wonderful for the words are the Lords'. I think everyone should put melody to this song...to make it their own...and more meaningful!
Loved the ending chorus.
Thanks for sharing.
