2nd round of all 4 majors wich all players have done, she wasnt gonna be anything it was obvious

She had a hip injury that kept coming back. Thats why her career was cut short. Only 24 years old now. She could have made some noise on the tour. And with all this talk about american tennis stars on the rise and how they pub scrubs (melanie oudin) and you heard very little about jackson when she was beating big name players. She was the first player to use electronic line calling in miami. 2006 was her year. She beat Maria and Jelena(same tourney) and made 3rd round of all 4 majors.

It's shame she had a career ending injury. She was definitely coming into her own right when it happened to. Great tournament here. She's like a compact Serena....similar service motions, way more talent than Melanie Oudin.

agh, i remember seeing one of Jamea's matches a few years ago at Roland Garros, I believe. It's sad that I hardly ever see or hear about her on the tour, nowadays... :[

Yea but Maria Sharapova's making money from her actual tournaments (not just the heavy sponsorship)
And Sharapova is winning major grand slam tournaments.
