On "1 Enoch"/"The book of Enoch" and Jude 1; it does not say a BOOK of Enoch. It is possible it MEANS a book/text written by Enoch but there's no evidence either way for oral or written. There are many examples in Scripture when a person is mentioned or quoted that isn't in the Bible. 1 Enoch contradicts Scripture & It belongs in apocrypha.

It is the group the questionable books were jumped into instead of the Scripture, with the title on the cover of them being 'Apocrypha'.

They say that Earth's atmosphere was a lot different before the flood. It was given as the argument to the question: how comes that people in the Old Testament lived so long? Apparently atmosphere contained a lot more oxygen which apparently also allowed some animals to grow to gigantic sizes. They say that Earth was covered by a canopy of water vapor that was like a shield from harmful sun rays. After the flood. human life was drastically shortened cuz atmosphere lost protective qualities.
