we can only use the animal B12, not the spirulina ed.
we make it in the last part of the large intestine. we absorb it in the last part of the small intestine. maybe when you are super healthy (like veganath) you can absorb your own made B12, but i haven't read any of that yet.
If you are under 200 pmol/l (or in some cases 300 pmol/l) and have cloudy head fatigue, strange feeling hands and feet, legs, tongue, better get some injections.

redbull is a great source for vitamin B believe it or not its 80% B12 and 250% B6

spirulina and bee pollen have a large amount of B12, as i found on spirulina bottle and in inet reading about those. plus human body produce some of b12 . so i dont believe that people need to eat meat or buy artificial tablets to get b12. its a lot of conspiracy about b12 so people would be scared to be vegan:)

Good information. :)

Vegan for 20 years & am an athlete, body builder, have no lack of energy, so why do I need B12 supplement? Our super sanitized processed foods(cooking being the biggest sin) causes a greatly reduced spectrum of bacteria in the gut. Is it any wonder B12 deficiency is prevalent..

no it's practically all your vitamins going down the toilet because they're not from a raw food or whole food source meaning they're made in a lab or synthetic. The body doesn't react well to synthetic supplements. In fact they can actually make you less healthy.

I bet your friend was a nut case from the get go. And most people become vegetarian and vegan to cure their bodies from the ailments caused by meats, because when you eat meat it weighs on the stomach and you can't eat as many fruits and vegetables. Most meat eaters eat a slice of tomatoe as compared to a vegetarian who eats a whole one and a load of good foods, not just a cheesburger haha.
This video is terrible! I'm an evangelist for B12 and I'm disgusted that this video is promoting misunderstood platitudes. B12 is a vitamin - vital for life. It is made by bacteria in the gut (meat eaters get it from cattle & sheep, vegans get it from their own gut), but modern food additives seem to kill a lot of these. If you're short of energy you could benefit, but don't buy from these guys
