I do not understand why Tim had to die. A true gentleman, who understood all of the angles of politics and life. I bet Shawn Hannity and Bill O' Reily will live to a hundred, but neither of those two men could lace Tim's shoes. They both use anger and shallowness to make political points. Neither man shows the quiet passion and reserve that Tim did. He is simply the best there is, was, and ever will be. God Bless You and your family.

Russert was a person who was left of center, but what made him special was not his political beliefs. It was that no matter the beliefs of the person he was interviewing, he sought HONESTY. That is so lacking in media today.
He has my respect on so many levels, even those of different beliefs saw what he was about.
Good man, loving man, courageous interviewer.
And btw! He was Big headed, not overweight. My family is the same way. His death was nothing but an unexpected tragedy.
