Rustlers racing at skate park

My friend and I finally got some footage of actual racing! My wife agreed to come along and do some filming for us. My kids were running around for the first part, which made it kind of tough, and of course, it wasn't until my wife took the kids to the kiddie park that got our best racing in (and not filmed!) Oh well, there is still some fun action here - enjoy!

The XL-5 is geared 16/86 with the stock 9 month old Titan 12T motor. The old-style rustler is outfitted with an 18-yr old Speedworks 20T motor that was never used, so it's like new. It's geared 16/84. On our previous bashing session, he ripped up the plastic tranny gears with that motor - it's a good one!

@08ICP Ironically, "real cars" in the future will mean electric cars. Besides, I can't stand all of the things about nitro that make it what it is. (The sound, the smell, and the constant tuning/trying to get it to run.)

To each his own! I'm glad we have options!

My friend and i have rc's and i have rustler xl-5 , and he has a hpi. we like to go to the skatepark sometimes....this looks exactly like the one we go to....are you in Norman, OK?
