@EatBreatheSleepSport Hohaia is a great sigining for you he's a new zealand Rep player although is overshadowed by Benji marshall he was part of the side that made the grand final in the NRL the warriors the thing about Hohaia is that he can play anywhere on the footy feild expect for the forwards his best position is fullback and is great from outta the ruck area (dummy half) but at halfback i dunno

@B1985A Jamie Lyon has done pretty well since coming back from England. I think it has to do with how good the there bodies are when they go and if they can keep healthy and fit for returning. Orford had fitness and some injury issues so I doubt he keep in top shape for his return.

Interesting to see wearing jersey number 19 for Saints was James Graham, another guy going to the NRL next season.

@EatBreatheSleepSport Laffranchi is not a bad player but he won't set the world on fire. Hohaia is quite a good player and can play a few positions. I've heard plenty of good things about James Graham and can't wait to see him in the NRL. Beaver Menzies is a legend
There have been a number of pommies come over to the NRL and done well. Burgess and Ellis are just a few. What i think is interesting though is if an NRL player goes to England and comes back they never seem to be the same player. Matt Orford is a good example

@B1985A Matt Orford was rubbish even playing at Bradford, and I'd previously been a massive fan of Orford in the NRL. He just lacked any sort of passion, and sadly I think that is a reflection of the state of the Bradford club currently. Morale is low, the training and gym provisions at the club is shocking, crowds are dwindling so much so that theyve had to resort to drastically reduced prices, the weak strength in depth etc

@EatBreatheSleepSport I must admit i didnt see Orford play in England. He's been terrible since he came back. He hasn't played for months and the coach says he's 'injured'. How has Danny Buderus been going? There are rumours he is coming back next year to his old club Newcastle. He's pretty old now though

@B1985A Buderus is going OK, I'm a St Helens fan so I dont see very much of him other than when Leeds are on the TV or whenever they play Saints, but he hasn't set the SL alight IMO, and neither do I think he's the best hooker in the comp currently. Leeds fans might disagree. The one Aussie who has impressed me greatly this year is Dureau, who has been magnificent, Beaver, as always, has been top class too.

@B1985A Just out of interest, can I ask your opinion on Hohaia and Laffranchi? I've seen Hohaia play a few times, but only at Fullback, what's he like at halfback? Saints have signed them both for next year, I'm just interested to see how you rate them. I don't know how much SL you see, but our Captain James Graham is coming to play in the NRL next year. He is immense, I think he'll make quite for a name for himself!

@B1985A Bradford were a forced to be reckoned with at the start of the decade, one of the top sides in SL, unfortunately theyve been mismanaged and they let all their top stars go in one foul swoop instead of slowly integrating the youngsters. It's too much. The Iestyn Harris saga didnt help them financially either. But on the whole, I do agree with you, although Orford was not the best example.
