Do you use it at night?

My best mix so far, which last about 3 to 4 weeks:
2 liter soda bottle filled with 60% boiled cold water (tap water kills some of the yeast)
2 cups of sugar
1 pack of wine yeast (Red Star Premier Cuvee, or Lalvin EC-1118
(normal yeast is Ok, but last less than 2 weeks)
The solution should start producing bubble within 2 hours. Quicker if you use lukewarm water.

But, does it really work? i mean, have you noticed that your plants have improved their growth? and the O2 production?

Hi, yes, it definitely has improved the plant growth. The only thing I can say about the CO2 mixer is that when you have too much CO2 from the bottle, you will see excees bubbles coming out into the aquarium. I found that if keep the bubble rate at 1 bubble/second, the mixer works well.

oright well im new to it. and making my own homemade . i just ordered a diffuser, tubbing, check valve, . but no bubble counter, can you actually controller it?. if not i prob wont get one since i already have a co2 indicator

If you are making your own CO2, there is really not much you can do to control the bubble rate. You want to increase the CO2 concentration during day time, so try not to disturbe the water too much during day time.
