TomatoBasil23: As I CLEARLY stated, I was naming musicians that appeal to that American Idol teen demographic since we're discussing Jennifer Hudson, who was an American Idol contestant.

I can go into any large high school and easily find singers just as good as the American Idol top contestants. Also, even horrible singers can be made to sound outstanding in a million-dollar high-tech recording studio.
