@kubek His support is implied. He doesn't say explicitly either way about SOPA itself, but showed no consideration for the implications it has on free speech as well as the architecture of the Internet. Overall he just whines about how poorly his movie did at the box offices and in the DVD market.

I always wondered why some of my friends would admire him in the first place. His shows are rather boring and the movie was just sad. Even though the topics are the same, there is no comparison to legends like George Carlin.

Needless to say, whatever respect I've had for Bill Maher is lost.

Meanwhile, Louis CK made huge profits by selling his own show for a reasonable price, online. Yes, I downloaded it from TPB for free. However, I still paid the man after watching because the show was good.
