I had the opportunity to meet George at PB&J at around hippie noon. Very polite, he seemed to have a warm heart toward the family.

would say, "welcome home"and if someone said it back to me I knew they were Kidz and I was safe there. I know the Kidz get a bad rap and that's not fair. At this gathering I took may of you up the mountain to the site and gave some a bed for the nifght. Just wanted to let you know you were a joy to have in town. You are welcomed home anytime!

George is a friend and it's great to see him happy among the gathering. When I used to travel the country in my van my son introduced me to the rainbow kidz. Iwas always safe with them. As a woman alone with my dog, when I pulled in to any campground I would use the code word the Kidz taught me. As I I traduced myself around I

@elfishfigure after 3 days of canned food i went to that kickey ds, enjoyed the food and then back up the mountain i went. I never met the sheriff but all the deputies talked to me and at the least waved. i love Cuba, NM

after cali gathering i was drivin back east with kevin drumm (rip) and he broke a rib couging (ocpd) we stopped at a lil gas station to find a hospitol, a cop came up to help us, then turns to me and says
' dont take this wrong but are u comming from a rainbow gatering?" we were 4 states away, thhought there was a national alert to look out for us..lol but then e says " i worked one once, i cant wait to go back off duty, u migt smoke some grass munch some shrooms but your so loving and peaceful

Driving out I asked the sheriff where there was a good place to eat in Cuba. He said "mickey d's". I wanna go HOME!

You guys are totally right. George is a deputy in our small village of Cuba and is a great guy. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. Full of love and even the occasional exaggerated story, but a funny, kind, loving man. I never got to go to the gathering, but might in the future. It's great to see that you guys picked up on his positive energy. I'll let him know all the nice things you said here, although he has probably already read them :)
