Part 3 Now if the fire was not put out would they have left them on the ship, no,... so they should have gotten them off and uncomfortable ship those cruises are not cheap like your comments... ..so why keep them filled with spam and not toilets . Part 2 Everyone has the right to their opinion and my opinion is if you knew me personally you would not have the balls to say that to my face . Now lets think for a second yes they all got off the ship safe, thank God . If you have ever been on a cruise when they do not dry dock they transport everyone safely ship to shore with water taxis to visit exotic Islands.

Part 1 @ Standupnsaysomthn I never watched the wanna be boys on Jersey Shore. And I will ,and do come out from behind my desk all the time. Fool is spelled with two o's . and idiot is a little harsh considering this was meant to be funny just humor. I have all ready cruised with Carnival at least five time. They are a great cruise line as I mentioned before.

I thought it was funny, and I agree... if I were a passenger on that ship, I would prefer evacuation over spam.... although I also understand that Carnival was likely following whatever protocols they have in place for that situation. But if I had saved up to go on a cruise, got time off work, and gone through all that hoopla, just to be stranded.... I would most certainly be less than pleased.

I won't call you an an idiot as someone else already has. I will say that you don't know what you are talking about. Spam was never served to the guests or the crew. There was no need for an evacuation of the ship to another vessel. Carnival handled this perfectly as did the US Coast Guard and Navy.

Toilets in some public areas were restored. I keep hearing that the Spam was served to crew members, not guests. Not saying that guests got tons better. but who cares. it's food in an emergency situation, can't be too picky. You're safe, with food nonetheless, clean water & will be rescued, unlike millons of others in this world. Be thankful for the full refund & free cruise.. & if you don't want the free cruise hand over your tickets ;)

They should have fed them M.R.Es, so it can plug them up. They won't be able to do no. 2 and thus preventing sewage backup. Once the sewage system fails; especially in the middle of the ocean, disease and sickness can spread. Although, it could have been a blessing in disguise. Another odd occurance happened in the pacific ocean, when a mystery missile was cited all in the same week. If that missile were to malfunction or exploded it may have fallen on to the Carnival Splendor. Who's to say.
