My GS tore a ligament in her knee(human equivalent to the ACL). I went to two different vets who said surgery is the only way...does anyone have any experience with this? She is a young, energetic dog and I don't know if she could handle the recovery part of the process.I don't want to put her through that if I don't have to...anybody?
