I've always felt Alpha C was the best of the Civ games, ideological divisions just made much more sense and gave you a much better sense of identity. My personal tastes supported playing as The Hive.

I like playing as the Gaians because Lady Deidre can use the alien lifeforms as great additions to their military power. Even adapting military units with telepathic attacking capabilities and being a Gaian gives a huge advantage against any other military units, transcending their technological superiority. I always won using the Gaians.

best secret project, when you have this (and/or monsoon jungle squares), you know youre gonna win: boreholes!

@tuktuktok ALL cut-scenes with real-action pats are from "Baraka". All secret projects are from "Baraka" (Ascetic Virtues are great editing, as they combine original scenes and the sliding door scene is revamped from the film into animation).
The only thing I'm not 100% sure is intro. It contains many scenes from "Baraka", but I'm not sure if all are from same source.

I bloody shiver hearing these things. Alpha Centauri stuff was so epic. :p

@Magni56 how about you get informed about a subject before you regurgitate the next fallacy you've picked up through half-assed gleanings off tv or off some arsehole friend and save me having to debunk your worthless statements? imbecile.
-
@Magni56 again your ignorance is displayed for all to behold. according to dictionary com and countless others the political definition of anarchy is: "3.
a theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society." clearly if you have a different tyrantss coercing you at the barrel of a fucking gun that is an authority, not anarchy.
-
@Magni56 lol you are hilariously dumb, stop wasting my time and get a clue. firstly the BBC is a reliable source of news, secondly it is citing other people's data, they are not it's own finding you dimwit, LOL. srsly. p.s i love how you continue to gibber as if saying something makes it so "oh yes by 2020 we'll all be millionaires and everyone will be happy and blah blah blah, no i don't need citations! lololz!" sorry, but to debate intellectually you need more than endless opinions/bullshit.
-
As for your anarchist bullshit: We've seen how well anarchy works on a national level. Somalia sure is an utopia, right? Hope you don't mind the constant civil war, general lawlessness and crushing poverty. Because that's what your beloved anarchy results in in practice.
-
As for the rest of your claims? A cheap BBC eco reportage? That's your source? Sorry, but a cheap TV reportage is sorhtless drivel in the face of the overwhelming majority of the worlds scientific community. Efficient use of resources today would allow several times as many people to live on Earth, easily. And space colonisation is something people living today might very much witness in their lifetimes.

Dogma? No, just someone taking a fucking look at psychology and history. Of course, not that that's something someone as completely blinded by brainless ideology like you could ever comprehend.
Your empty rethorics are handily and completely debunked by every last case in history where that kind of wishful thinking was put to the test.
Great video. The sound acting is particulary good most of the times. Please tell me is the video taken from Koyaanisqatsi?

I don't know, I haven't seen that film. But from the look of the trailer, I think it's highly possible.
