Abiyoyo - Reading Rainbow video

From Reading Rainbow episode 35, featuring Pete Seeger and LeVar Burton.
Based on a South-African lullaby, with text by Pete Seeger and illustrations by Michael Hays. Pete Seeger performs. The book is published by Simon and Schuster.

This was one of my absolute favorite stories/videos from childhood and I think that everyone should have the chance to view it. Afterwards, go get the book from a library or book store and read it to someone! Or sing the song, with instrumentation! I don't think Reading Rainbow is still on anymore but it's a shame, because it was a wonderful show. If anyone from that program sees this, you should feel content because you actually did something significant for many people :) Please don't take the video down - it's very hard to find otherwise.

This story scared the crap out of me when I was little, but when I got older, I actually could tell this story to kids by heart at daycares. Nowdays it would make an AWESOME SyFy movie! :)
