@BDFPA Approx 2000, its increasing slightly as 1Para is being expanded from 450 to 600 cos they're doing so well in their supporting role for special forces so they'll be given more solo missions. Also the more para's there are the more guys to go on into the SAS whose numbers are starting to dwindle through so many deaths, missing limbs and too few people trying selection because every soldier is guaranteed action anyway.

i give much respect for paras, but i consider royal marines commandos to be a better fighting force (partly cos im joining them in september, but nevertheless haha)
