This is one of my favorite Christian songs. It has so much meaning, on so many levels. But last night, at church service, the worship team was singing it, and as they sang, I buried my face in my hands and prayed the words, and it weighed on me so heavy that I started to cry.

I just realize how important it is to let God transform you, rather than trying to transform yourself. I mean, if you let Him do it, and acknowledge Him for the transformation, His strength will grow in you. The relationship between us and Him is just amazing to me and I was so humbled last night that I had to share the words with everyone.

For me, at the moment, I am interpreting the lyrics in a very literal, physical way. I have tried time and time again get my body healthy, and I have failed on every occasion. But, since I've given my burden to God, He has been faithful in carrying me through this journey. Since I began this, just a short time ago, I have been transformed in ways that I didn't even know were possible. And though it's only been six weeks, I know He won't let go...ever.

I hope it somehow speaks to you, in whatever way you need to hear from Him. God bless.

"Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my body is in agony." Psalms 6:2 NLT

Has changed me. I was boy crazy. Obnoxious. Never chose God to rule over my life. But he now does. This song, i took to heart. He Has Changed Me. Completely. I want Him to rule over my life. I was crying so hard. I need Him in my life. Now. He needs to be my priority in life. I love Him. Thank You Jesus.

  • 6 years ago I was released from youth detention center and kept making bad decisions in my life. I never once wanted kids in my life. I met a beautiful blonde girl when I was 16 and she asked me to go to church with her. I had never been to church before. I didn't go to meet god I went to meet this girl. At that service I really listened and it was meaningful to me. I am now a youth leader for my chuch and have been happily married to that blonde woman for 3 years with 2 kids.

  • This song has helped me through soo much! 2 weekends ago I was at camp with my church. I always said I was a Christain but I was not acting like a Christain. I didn't really know what a Christain was untill camp. I decided to give the Lord Almighty my life and my soul. Ever since, I have seen a change and this song makes me cry every time because some people don't realize how amazing the Lord really is. Thank you Jesus for showing me the light! <3 you Jesus
