5/14 - A few years ago a portable jukebox was discovered which belonged to John Lennon in the 1960s. The jukebox conntained a tracklist of 40 records - soul, R&B and Rock 'n' Roll - written in Lennon's own handwriting. These are the songs which shaped his musical education and they reveal many of the original sources of inspiration for his later songwriting.

It was originally recorden by the Top Notes. The Isley brothers then covered it, and THEN the Beatles covered it. After that the Mamas & the Papas, Brian Poole & the Tremeloes and Chaka Demus & Pliers covered it. I think the Who also covered it.

Of course The Beatles are better. Theres no question to that. The Isley Brothers are amazing though.
