Thanks, man. I never really thought of the mechanics behind running. I'm a canadian soldier. Im training my body so that I can do great at this fittness test. If I score in the top five in my training group, I get to go on basic parachutist training. This really helps, gave me a good sence of direction. cheers!
Thanks so much for this video George. I've gone from struggling through a 3 mile run hardly able to string a few words together after 5 mins, to comfortably running 6.5 miles while being able to hold a conversation throughout. All from making these few changes to my running style. The improvement was immediate (i.e. the first time i concentrated on the technique, I could run further, easier.) Distance running is now a genuine pleasure, where it was previously a painful challenge.
