  • The reel has been ruined . too fast and lacking in it's own inherent nuances of colour and melody..a reel to be listened to carefully t a slow tempo....Sean Potts , Martin Hayes or Paddy Carty would never do this to the tune......

  • Tradition is humble, is governed by respect for itself, it unifies all it's diversities under one principle. Innovation is natural to he who is less interested in preservation, and consciously allows himself to mix all of his influences. They are both necessary, and have always coexisted. But tradition carries on and it's features remain more or less unchanged, whereas innovation has little space to be remembered, because it finds refuge in innovators alone. It is spontaneous by nature.

  • tommy hayes did outstanding work with stocktons wing-class player-and eileen rocks the planet!

  • It was a nice piece of music/dance but i can see where Tony MacMahon is coming from with the sense of tradition drifting away from the source. Anyway that reel she's playing is called Julia Delaney's

  • Aww, Eileen! So cute. But those pants...lol.
