Duh, this IS news! All sorts of news affect peoples lives and this story is one of them. News is to report recent events, information, etc. And, yes people do need hope, faith, and all that good stuff to keep us alive. Ever heard of those good stuff?? Maybe you should try channeling one of them so you wouldn't feel so Negative when you watch the News about recent events.

This is a news channel... I watch news to see what happened in the world that might affect my life. You need hope, seek GOD... watch Oprah or lifetime. Tiger's sex life, Usher's perfume, and this little bastard's residence aren't gonna affect me in the least. Maybe you should start a hope channel.

Our economy has nothing to do with this inspiring story. Actually, this story brings HOPE in the midst of a great storm. Do you understand what that means?? There is no hope in this war, there aren't heroic great stories people come back with, no one's drinking a beer to celebrate. Therefore, this story has a great affect in our lives. It brings hope for some, inspiration for others, pain for many, but in the end happiness for all.

The Brazilian family will suffer greatly thou to say for the least since the boy was handed down to his true father.
I think its time for them to move on and for the child to be with his true father. The Brazilian family did a selfish act into keeping him there far away from his real father for a long time.
Too bad for the Brazilian family HOORAY to father of the boy i hope they catch up since they both missed years of their lives.
The boy better appreciate for his father fighting for him.

The boy has a right to spend at least some of his formative years in the arms of and under the protection of his own true father. He has a right to know and enjoy his father's home and remember it as his rightful childhood home. The disgrace is that he was kept away for so long. It is never too late to try to right an injustice.

They had to traumatize the poor kid some more by parading him in the media like that. I'm glad Sean is away from these kidnappers and back home with his dad.
