A few months ago I began to realize that older well educated Americans (geniuses in all aspects) take information that they find on-line, in books, in articles, in official Government Reports, as the truth without question. If the author presents the information along with evidence of why the information is true, these same educated people start to accept the written info as fact. The quote was something like, "if they wrote the article it is true, you can search for it on the internet".

Show me the video of one alien spaceship beaming up a human being, or taking a human being on a spaceship. There isn't one video. Think about it, there are millions of camcorders out there and yet not one video.
