2007 Saturn Vue: Short Drive

SLOOOOOOW and it sounds like a can of angry bees.

BTW my brother's car... and that's my cousin with me along for the ride, not my brother.

My dad owned a 2007 vue. Saturn shot themselves in the foot by putting a 2.3l in an suv. Sure it's compact, but it was a decent size and definitely needed at least the ecotech 2.4. My dad hated that car. He said he didn't like how the steering felt and also commented on the slowness. He has an 08 Aura now which is a lot nicer but still not too fast.

LOL worse it's a 2.2! and even the 2.4 4 spd auto in the newer Vue was far too underpowered!

I'm glad I don't have to drive this car at all except on occasion JUST for kicks. I drive the Fusion V6 the most.....No lack of power there!

BTW what kinda of Acura?

Nono not Acura, Aura. Saturn Aura. It's a really nice riding car! Still a little underpowered though. I drive a 2000 Mercury Sable 24V. That has plenty of power also (it has some transmission problems though)

My brother's friend was driving a rental Aura around when he was home when some kid racing down there block crashed into his dad's work Buick, so hence the Aura. It was the 3.5 V6, he took me for a ride in it and it packed a punch at WOT kickdown at 20 MPH. Although I'm sure that car would feel nothing like my mom's Fusion does now (power wise).

I told my dad when he bought that Vue he absolutely should have gotten the Honda V6 in it and not this horrifyingly underpowered I4.

Well my dad got the Aura 2.4. Supposedly the 2.4 has a nicer ride than the 3.5 but the 3.5 is obviously much more faster. My dad got the 2.4 because he works 35 miles away so he didn't wanna car with bad mpg's.
