The bombing raid on 14 November 1940 which destroyed Coventry Cathedral and much of the city centre was codenamed Moonlight Sonata. This film was made through a partnership between Herbert Media and Nuneaton Movie Makers and features moving testimony from Blitz survivors.

  • AAAA. 071109Z APR 2010 Thank you for posting Mum and I were under the stairs during this big raid.....After the war I picked up part of an incendiary bomb in the fields next to Watery Lane Keresley Coventry.....You can well imagine what Mum did !!! It was left for Dad to deal with it......So when one talks of the good old days !!!....Sometimes hardy any food....No need to go further....Just let us pray and give thanks to Almighty God.......AR.
