I was just up in Lester last Sunday. My grandparents used to live just two doors to the right of the old Fire Warehouse. I used to go play over there between the Guard Station and the Fire Warehouse. Oh the 1960's is way to far from now!

I spent a week there as a child living with the last family in town. There was a little old lady living there then too, but she has since been run out by the city of Tacoma.

Thanks for posting, though. I caught wind of Lester late in the fall and have been wanting to hike out there and shoot some video. How was the hike? Did you have any trouble finding your way? Obviously I plan to wait until summer! :-)
