00:36 Youyou (Ndombe Opetum) vocals: Ndombe Opetum, Wuta Mayi, Lukoki Diatho, Ntesa Dalienst; guitars: Gégé Mangaya, Thierry Mantuika, Nedule (aka Papa Noel).

06:12 Locataire (Franco) vocals: Ntesa Dalienst, Ndombe Opetum, Josky Kiambukuta, Franco; guitars: Lutumba Simaro, Franco, Nedule (aka Papa Noel).

11:30 Liyanzi Ekoti Ngai Na Motema (Ntesa Dalienst) vocals: Ntesa Dalienst, Wuta Mayi, Madilu System, Lola Chécain. guitars: Gerry Dialungana, Franco, Gégé Mangaya. Batterie: Ntoya. bass: Flavien Makabi. saxes: Dele Pedro (alto), Isaac Musekiwa (alto), Matalanza (tenor). Dalienst claimed this was the first time ever Franco played this song in public. On the record the mi-solo was played by Thierry Mantuika, but since the international tour was mainly the result of the international success of this song, Franco had an obligation to play on it now.

22:39 Ebale Ya Zaire (Lutumba Simaro) vocal: Djo Mpoyi. guitars: Lutumba Simaro, Thierry Mantuika (using the Fender Franco plays in Course au Pouvoir and Ndunda), Franco. batterie: Ntoya. saxes: Dele Pedro, Empompo Loway (?), Matalanza. The trumpet player in the middle is Kapitena.

27:37 Bimansha (Josky Kiambukuta) vocals: Dalienst, Opetum, Diatho, Kiambukuta.Mpudi Decca on bass, Makosso on rhythm guitar, Gerry Dialungana "solo", Franco mi-solo. Ntoya on drums and I'm not sure about the sax players, possibly Matalanza on the left. Percussionist slipped my mind. More info: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsfz59_pV3E

37:10 Course au Pouvoir (Franco) Note that on this, a tune from 1966, Franco plays a Fender guitar, while on all other tunes from this gig he plays a Gibson Les Paul. vocals: Ndombe Opetum, Djo Mpoyi, Lola Chécain. guitars: Franco, Lutumba Simaro. bass: Flavien Makabi. tenor sax: Matalanza. batterie: Ntoya.

41:35 Kufwa Ntangu (Gerry Dialungana) vocals: Ntesa Dalienst, Wuta Mayi, Josky Kiambukuta, Lukoki Diatho. guitars: Gégé Mangaya, Thierry Mantuika, Gerry Dialungana. batterie: Ntoya. Sorry for the visual distractions, guys!!

45:51 Bolingo Ya Moitie-Moitie (Lukoki Diatho) vocals: Djo Mpoyi, Wuta Mayi, Lukoki Diatho, Aimé Kiwakana. guitars: Gégé Mangaya, Franco, Gerry Dialungana.

(Note: It seems the producers did not have all the sounds completely covered with footage so in some instances, they substituted missing pictures with footage from other songs.)

  • i love this ..... what a gr8 fesitval it was @ Abidjan... indeed no band to date can rival tpok jazz ...oh my oh my oh my what a collection, what a channel and what a legend we have in Aboubacar

  • Very enjoyable video but quite depressing that at least 85% of these exceptionally talented folks are dead, some dying in impoverishment. Worse off all, this video is approximately 30 years old, yet these folks died while under 60 years of age. Our greatest tribute to them is not just to watch/listen to their creation, but to also interpret it. This is where I implore our Congolese friends to make efforts to sum up what every posted music is all about. Great job once again, Aboubacar Siddikh
