@misslorena90 Goa was portugal for more then 500 years...of course they have portuguse culture dispite the invaders indians trying to destroy there culture and whay of life.

@jon0441 there was no such thing as 'india' when portuguese shipping arrived in goa in the 16th century. goa even to this day should be released from the indian union and granted independence as we deserve. the merging with indian fails to portray the distinct identity we hold.
