Wait a second? Did you just ask who the lead singer of R.E.M is? Do you live under a rock? Also Natalie Merchant make THEM famous? Yeah because 10k maniacs was SOOO crazy good back then. She didn't make a name for her self really until the early 90s, and by that time R.E.M had more than taken off. (late 80s.) In other words.. you are an idiot.
