The first episode in our attempt to "filmify" the classic Super NES RPG, "Earthbound." In this part, Ness is prepared to continue his quest in the next town. But first he'll have to deal with the problem of the local police force.

Notice: We started working on this project of filming Earthbound back in October of 2007. Our original intention was to create a parody/homage of UbseyMovies's excellent Earthbound Saga. Since those beginnings, however, we've tried to make our version more independent, but we filmed a lot of these first two episodes with the explicit intention of copying Earthbound Saga.

I think you have to go talk to the old man sitting on the bench at the hospital and have him heal you. I'm not positive about that - it's been a while since I've played that part of the game.

Another mistake: LifeUp cost 5 and Rockin cost 10 not the other way around.

Well, you have to understand that we weren't really aiming for accuracy with the game at that level of detail... plus it was difficult to figure out exactly how much to add and subtract the HP and PP while animating the meter on top of the footage.

That's a good idea, but they don't do that in the game, and we've only got so much space on the screen...

Ness must have used the Rock Candy trick to get his guts up to 255. I wish every hit was a SMAAAAAAASH in my copy!
