it may have a tic but it well steal beat a lot of cars out there. sounds great!!

My VY SS sounds 3 times louder than this and still kicks arse after 110,000km, My mates ute has same noise as well. I wouldn't worry too much if it isn't effecting the cars performance already,If it is then might need to have it checked/fixed. Worst case scenario probably a rebuild $2k.

That's why I won't mess with my engine, you won't have a reliable car once you take if apart and add all this aftermarket internal parts.

that sound is normal.. especially if your motor has any real miles on it.. It sounds good man.. run that bitch!!!

I have a very very light cam (mti t1), and I get a slight tick out of mine too. loud chevy engines

SEAFOAM THAT BITCH!!

I have built 2 LS1's and both make ticking noises. They already have loud valve trains and the fast ramp rates on the cams cause it to be worse. There is probably nothing at all wrong with your car. It does sound strong.

i think all LS engines tick cuz i even heard it in my 5.3 vortec in my silverado and still burns rubber haha

yea I went and replaced all the lifters and then used a pushrod checker to get the correct length and it still sounds like that. I heard a few other cammed LS1s and they sound the same. I was told it's the mean lobed these aftermarket cams have no days.
