no... its not easier. Its a turbine engine. A piston engine is much simpler.

  • Maybe easier, but not more cost efficient!

  • the maintanace of a turboprop is easier than the piston engine??

  • what is the improvement in speed or fuel burn?

  • They should make those cowls that have the one huge inlet on the bottom like a TBM 700

  • seriously? That's quite intense. I don't mind having cowl flaps, but I always forget to close or open them. I've flown the non-turbo arrow too by the way. On Falcon Field, Arizona. Very nice airplane, I would love to fly it again once more.

  • Yeah, I fly a non-turbo arrow, and I have never had problems with overheating. Some of the more powerful pipers, though, I have heard they need cowl flaps in a bad way. I have seen a saratoga with bubbled paint on the side of the cowling.

  • O.o SO NICE!!!!!!!!

  • Looks good, but cowl flaps are a little annoying

  • nice...very nice plane!
