Speaking to broadcaster Fiona Bruce, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, told of growing up in a royal palace. He said: Growing up in those houses its like Windsor you know you rush up and down corridors mucking about as small children never really noticing the surroundings much. And Ive never forgotten suddenly, I think it must have been about the age of about fourteen, and I suddenly started to notice the paintings. I can't tell you how wonderful it was, that moment. In Victoria: A Royal Love Story, Bruce traces one of history's great royal love stories - the love between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the huge importance of art within it The Antiques Roadshow presenter visits the houses and palaces the Royal couple lived in, telling the story of the unique collection they built together, including Balmoral and Buckingham Palace. During the twenty years of their marriage, until Prince Alberts death, they never stopped giving each other paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewellery.
