This is Mao Asada's TEB performance of "The Bells of Moscow" set to Prelude in C sharp minor, the original piano version of the piece, composed by Rachmaninoff. No fancy cuts or editing, just wanted to see what it would look like with the piano version. Sorry about the low quality.

  • I prefer in general the piano version but the coreography here is better wth orchestral version.

  • I love the piano version, but it does not match very well Mao's performance. It's clear that in the orchestra version she skates on rhythm, while the piano version requires skating on the notes (like Mao did in her Nocturne SP).

  • Unbelievable performance

  • @improvvisamente @inskate777 but Rachmaninoff wrote it for the piano.

  • orchestra one is too heavy and creepy. piano is better

  • alot more suitable than the orchestra version! esp for the beginning/first half at least!
