Some air to air shots of the Farnborough Aircraft Kestrel. The video shows take off from the grass at Redhill, and landing at Biggin Hill airport. The video was filmed from a helicopter using a gyro-stabilised camera.

  • No. Farnborough Aircraft had a brief joint venture with Epic which ended in 2005, a year before the Kestrel first flew. We did the majority of the aerodynamic design work for the Epic LT and the Kestrel, and the 2 aircraft use the same wing. The Kestrel's fuselage is significantly larger than the LT's, and it is designed to be a certified aircraft not a kit plane.

  • Most excellent video on a beautifull aircraft but I prefer my engineless Kestrel

  • The aspect ratio is messed up

  • excellent video...good shooting...the Kestrel is a winner!!

  • Lovely video, would be even nicer to see it at the correct aspect ratio.

  • @FarnboroughAircraft so how do you guys get the same cruise speed as the epic? more powerful turbo? Epic has 1200 i think. How many does the kestrel have?

  • did they take the idea of that plane design from EPIC Aircraft, because they look identical.

  • Excellent filming very nice!
