VenomFangX is leaving due to threats?

I don't buy it. If you ask me, Shawn just wants an excuse to stop being expected to produce videos; vote-fixing and manual comment filtering is a lot of work. With the number of comments Shawn was really getting (NOT the number of comments he was letting through), the comment filtering alone was probably a downright herculean task.
But I could be wrong.

On the off chance that Shawn really was receiving threats -- as in actual THREAT threats, and not simply private arguments he has chosen to blatantly mischaracterize (and it would not be at all out of character for Shawn to do such a thing as that) -- shame on those who were involved with it. This is not how good people behave, regardless of the douchiness of the person or persons getting on their nerves, this is THUGGERY.
The people who sent these threats, if they are real, are just as bad as VenomFangX himself. SHAME.

As I Christian I find your style a bit excessive, however even if you were to have done it different people would have still hated you. Jesus took care of His ministry in the best way possible, no scandals, no hypocrisy, and He never lost a debate but they still killed Him. Jesus said we would be hated for His name's sake. Whether or not these threats against your life were real, I fear that soon in this world (including America) these acts of violence against Christians will increase.

The second seems to me to be the more likely reason for him being shut down. If there were real threats, you'd think the site would have mentioned /that/.

Shawn is fishing for sympathy and an exceuse to vent out against those who he finds the most irate. I don't like the Amazing Atheist, but I doubt if he is responsible for the death threats. I've seen his videos, and he would wish death upon Venomfangx himself, without resorting to death threats, or having someone else do it. Shawn is shooting blanks, like always.
