If I don't figure out how to fix this, I'm postponing the Sims 2: iCarly episode I wanted to make.

  • Michaelweakly you made my day thanks sooooooo much

  • i made a combat arms montage got all files split into parts except one i split it and half of my videos go currupt or have black previews hate that this is the ONLY! video editing software for windows 7 that does not crash on you but gives you small errors :(

  • same thing happen to me did u find a solution?

  • Is someone here who could help me find out the reason why windows live movie maker crashes when adding a large video file like 3 gb but works fine with small file

  • Is your video card / graphics chip from AMD / ATI. I never had this problem until I installed an HD6870. It is weird. Everything is blurry. Just not the videos. Even the help screens, text and submenus. However windows media player, games and all other applications worked fine. I fixed it by doing a clean install of catalyst 11.9. That worked fine until I updated to Catalyst 11.10 then everything went blurry again. Tried to do a clean install tonight and it did not work.

  • Uninstall Windows Live Movie Maker 2011, and delete your C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Live folder. Then download Windows Live Movie Maker 2009 and install, reboot and then you're golden!

I tried 2011 version also and it sucks big time!!!

  • it just sucks, the only thing MS can make is an operating system.

  • Same thing is happening to me! :'(

  • Download and install Any Video Converter, open it up, use the converting format as AVI, add the videos to the list of files ready to be converted and then click "Convert".

When it is done, open Windows Live Movie Maker and add them to your movie.

They should not be corrupt since they are in your movie.

    That should fix your problem.

  • when i film on sims 2 its all pixely, help?

i have windows live movie maker too, it doesn't happen to me, what is your computer, mines windows 7
