Live!!! Shiny Charmander after 36,864 SRs!! EPIC CHRISTMAS SHINY!!!!

4:30 FOR THE SHINY

I CANNOT BELIEVE I FINALLY HAVE THIS!!! I have been hunting this, and only this, for right around a month and a half. I started out with a few hundred SRs already done, then picked it up after Munna on three systems. I ordered a second Leaf Green in part to hunt this specifically. I quickly reached the odds. After a few weeks, it became my third longest hunt, passing Watchog. With finals closing in, Charmander passed Axew, making it my second longest hunt. As I struggled through finals, Charmander approached my first Totodile, which too 26,364 SRs. When I finally arrived home 10 hours after I'd left college, I has passed Totodile. With time to hunt, I set to work. I heard plenty of other shiny hunters on Skype react to finding shinies. PureSkill740, who also had a 30k hunt at the same time, soon got his shiny, a Paras after 30,798 REs. Christmas loomed ever closer, and on Christmas Eve I worked hard to find it, but with no luck. Christmas morning came with a variety of presents, but, although I reached 36,000 SRs, no shiny appeared. As I returned from my aunt and uncle's house. Despite not feeling very lucky, I decided to hunt anyway. I talked to BraveNewWolf until she got offline, watched some "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and eventually got on Skype.

Finally, after 36,864 SRs, exactly 10,500 more than Totodile, I FOUND MY SHINY CHARMANDER!! Plus, it was live! It has a Jolly nature (+Speed, -Sp. Atk.) and is male. At the request of BraveNewWolf, I will be nicknaming it Severus once I get to the Name Rater. Also, it's a CHRISTMAS DAY SHINY!

I soft-resetted for Charmender on Christmas day as well, with no luck. But I finally get it a month later while at work. ^_^ Congrats!
