A story about prejudice, White & Black is a fast-paced police chase on the streets of New York City where the audience becomes the hunted.
"Arias is concise he never wastes a frame and gets you in and out of there in 3 minutes. Arias is able to do things with this 3-minute film that some Hollywood filmmakers spend two and a half hours failing at. Arias' film twists your thoughts and manages to leave a lasting impression on your mind in the hours after viewing his film."

Premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2002 and then screened at other important festivals around the world.
"The film is about contrast, perception and stereotypes. With this film I'm asking the audience to rethink their paradigms and not to judge before getting enough information and examination of the facts. I want the audience to be part of the film, to be active, to participate, to feel responsible. There is too much information out there. That's why we create paradigms; models that channel our expectations and help us organize sensory information. However, we have to be aware that perception could be a deception since it's almost always mediated by paradigms. We just have to be very careful before making any pre-judgments. We all have prejudices in one way or another, and that's okay. Learning from experience gives us previous understanding about things that we are going to cope with. We just have to learn how to use pre-judgments in a positive way."

Amazing film - just goes to show that you don't need dialog to speak volumes.
