  • Not sure if this has been explained, but there was a time limit in '96. Armstrong's first dunk came right away and his next two were explosive but missed off the iron. As you can tell, each of his dunks seemed to require a 55 foot running start. At the end of 90 seconds, when it was clear he wouldn't finish three dunks as required, he mis-timed his jump and threw up an "ah, what the hell" shot as time expired. Obviously, that wasn't his plan.

  • You cut off the best part!

  • Why do a layup in a dunk contest? It's like saying why Get drunk and go driving a boat?

  • @NickTF2 yeah. stupid comment gets 61 thumbs up

  • @soulestazn how the fuck did this get 61 thumbs up

  • HE TAKES THE LAYUP! YOU CAN NOT DO A LAYUP IN A DUNK CONTEST!!
