  • Hi- I just began using Topaz - love all!!! but when I go into Topaz B&W effects - i dont have any type of presets - What do I have to do to activate it? thanks and keep up the great work....

  • @almaycolon If you are not seeing the preset panel at all, click on the little white arrow half way down on the left side to open it up. If you see the preset panel, with no presets included in the panel, please re-download and install B&W Effects to restore the presets. Hope that helps! :) -Nichole

  • is this a program (run alone) or is it for photoshop and light room?

  • @donaldwolff B&W Effects are plug-ins for PS, PSE, Aperture, LR and more....they are not standalone at this time. - Nichole

  • Appreciate any constructive feedback where you think B&W Effects could improve. We take user suggestions into consideration when updating, which we are already working on for this plug-in (bug fixes and new features, scheduled to be released in the next couple of weeks....v1.1), and is how Adjust 4 was developed. Thanks for the feedback. -Nichole

  • @topazlabs thank you - it worked!

  • @SuperPhotojoe Currently there is no noise reduction in the program, but I'll put this in the request area. :) -Nichole

  • I disagree with TrumanPhotography. I think it is great to have a quick way to get B&W conversions. I particularly like the local adjustments. Bring back a touch of color is one way to bring out the focal point of your image.

  • Having recently purchased this program, I am impressed with the quality for the price. This video helped to understand the program so I could use it's features better.

  • @CrucialSuicide I'll put this in the request area....thanks for the suggestion. :)
