Ishtiaq Ahmed, the author of 800 novels, Most popular author of Children Detective Novels, the Creator of Inspector Jamshed Series,Inspector Kamran Mirza Series, Shoki Brothers Series. Ishtiaq Ahmed visited Karachi for the Launch Ceremony of his Khaas Number 'PAHAAR KA SUMENDER' (Published by Atlantis Publications) on 18th and 19th December 2011. Atlantis Publications, the sole authorized Publisher of Ishtiaq Ahmed's Novels since the year 2003, arranged the Launch Ceremony at Expo Center Karachi on 18th Decemebr 2011 (the 3rd day of 7th Karachi International Book Fair). On 19th December, Uzma AlKarim, the host of Geo Pakistan Morning Show of Geo Television Network interviewed Ishtiaq Ahmed and Farooq Ahmed(CEO of Atlantis Publications) while sitting in front of the Atlantis Publications Stall in Hall 2 in Karachi Expo Center. This is the first interview of Ishtiaq Ahmed after the year 1980, when for the very first time PTV Lahore studios interviewed him for the TV show 'FAROZAN' by Ghazala Qureshi. This Geo TV interview by Uzma AlKarim was aired on 25th December 2011. The Atlantis Publications team who facilitated this interview was led by Ms. Aasia Aziz.
