CM #119 - Fall Apple Scrapbook Layout - Sweet Boy

Hi! Finally, a LAYOUT! lol This video will link to many supporting videos I previously uploaded. You can see it all made, and you can skip what you want.

This 12x12 photograph album page is ready for for a scrapbook. It is sitting on a page planner sheet - that's why things look titled a bit. I plan many pages at once and co-ordinate them. See Video #120 for more information on this idea.

I used the Croptoberfest papers from Creative Memories. The kit has photo mats and long colorful cardstock borders. The detail on those borders is really nice :)

1) First I cut the large apple from a red photomat paper. I cut a 5" triangle and placed it behind the apple as a shadow.

2) I trimmed the 12" border into 2 pieces. Now they accent my 2 photos!

3) I made some accent papers for my photos. I cut strips of red pattern paper from the Cheerful Seasons Power Palette. I used the digital kit to make my pattern paper - that's another topic by itself :)

4) I used my Cricut Expression. But a baby bug or Create will work too! I used the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge to make the title:

Snapshots is a 3 layer feature
Font is Basic Font and Basic Font Shadow
Apple and shadow are features on the Cricut Cartridge

5) Layout Ideas from Fast Formulas book volume 1. 1998! Use it or lose it, as Gale would say! lol

This layout will work for any child in your life. Just change boy to girl or child / children.

Do you mean what the layout is sitting on? I just replied with file fold card dimensions for a greeting card video - uh oh - hope I replied with measurements in the right place! LOL

Yes here I am using the Power Layout kit by CM. I do a ton of layouts at one time, then glue them all into my photo album at one time. Make sure I like order 1st, etc. It is one of my favorite tools. I can do an album in a month (1/2 year of photos) using it :)
