The lyrics by Chris Brubeck, Amos jessup, and Jim Montgomery. The mother's Love for her child is pure and universal including animal kindom as I see.

THANK YOU for this lovely presentation of such a beautiful song. You've found some lovely images to complement the lyrics. This duet between Flicka and her then-18-year-old daughter Jenny is one of my favourite recordings of hers. I do hope that she will record an album of lullabies in the future and include this duet. Flicka projects such warmth and tenderness in her singing. I'd hazard a guess that she's a wonderful Grandma!
